We’ve been admiring Alex’s grapes in our neighborhood for years! We also have grapes but not nearly as well tended as Alex’s. We finally stopped in one day to ask about tips for pest control and pruning. What a wealth of knowledge. We came back again for a pruning tutorial and Alex shared some of his harvest with us as most of ours had been eaten by birds? Racoons? We got enough to make a batch of grape jelly…first jar to Alex!

I want to Thank Alex for all his help and advice with my vines here in Temiskaming Shores. If it wasn't for his expertise, knowledge and amazing advice I would not have had the grape crop that I've had the past couple years. To be honest; if it wasn't for Alex, I would have ripped out my vines and replaced them with a cedar hedge.
Once again, Thank you Alex for sharing your knowledge to help me with my vines. I have been able to share my crop with family, friends and neighbours because of what you taught me.
For anyone hesitant on growing grapes in zone 3b, please take Alex's advice and grow those Grapes!
